What Our Happy Clients Say About Us
The videos open doors to all students and staff within the Upper Canada School Board to see through the eyes of Akwesasne youth significant aspects of community life. Visitors who come to Akwesasne usually do so for events such as the PowWow, this video tour highlights the educational, social and medical resources within the community.
Donna Lahache
As the Grand Chief of Akwesasne, I always enjoy providing tours and talking about our wonderful community; unfortunately, with COVID we are unable to host visitors. This virtual tour captures many of the beautiful locations and popular spots that our community has to offer.
Grand Chief Abram Benedict
It has been a great honor to work on the Akwesasne Virtual Tour and Cultural Tour project on behalf of the UCDSB. As an educator myself I am thrilled to share the voices and power of our Akwesasronon youth, especially the language, culture and world view of our people. Seven generations going forward these videos will be a steadfast representation of the richness of our culture and the resilience of our people.
